Sixty-nine years ago, Robert Dale Reem of Elizabethtown gave his life for our country while protecting the lives of his fellow marines. As a result of this
heroic action 2nd Lt Reem received the Medal of Honor. The Reem family has a long history in not only Elizabethtown but in Lancaster County as the founders of both Rheems and Reamstown.
