Jack Brubaker, a native of Bird-in-Hand, writes The Scribbler, a weekly Lancaster Newspapers (LNP) column exploring Lancaster County's history and culture. He is a retired investigative reporter for LNP.
He has written several books, including Down the Susquehanna to the Chesapeake (Penn State Press, 2002) and Remembering Lancaster County (The History Press, 2010).
